We felt lucky to have stumbled across this lovely apartment and the lovely town of Lymington. As soon as we arrived we arranged to stay an extra couple of nights. The place was very clean and bright. It is located in the centre of town but the car parking was easy for unloading luggage and quite close for long term parking. Our two girls enjoyed looking out on the High Street and calling out to anyone who would listen! It also felt very secure and we didn’t have any issues with noise at all. One of our favourite things was to just walk down stairs to a variety of excellent coffee shops every morning. Thanks for having us David and thanks for your top tips on where to go- we followed them all!

“Enjoyed a morning coffee in the flats window seat over looking the High Street”

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break here, was lovely to just be able to stroll out for a walk round Lymington and eat in the restaurants in the evenings. Enjoyed a morning coffee in the flats window seat over looking the High Street watching the Saturday Market setting up. The flats decor was luxurious too which made a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We are already planning to come back.

“The market on Saturday is a real treat”

Fantastic location right on Lymington High St. Made exploring the local area really easy and if you should forget anything you’re only 2 mins away from grabbing it from a shop nearby. Parking permit a really nice addition and took the sting out of any car parking charges in the surrounding towns too. Lovely apartment, tastefully decorated. Check-in was easy, and the hosts leave a comprehensive guide of the area which we found very helpful. Always quick to respond when contacted with any additional questions, too. If you do stay over the weekend, the market on Saturday is a real treat (and as we later discovered is a huge tradition and has been running for years). Thanks again.

“I was actually sad to leave!”

What a perfect apartment right in the heart of Lymington! The apartment itself was so spacious and comfortable with everything we could ever need for our stay. It felt like Home and I was actually sad to leave! It is so centrally located on High street with shops, cafes, restaurants all at the door step. We had a wonderful few days exploring the streets, visiting new forest and it’s also a great base to use if planning to visit Peppa Pig world! I can not recommend David & Claire’s apartment enough and we are so thankful for being great hosts.

“We loved staying here”

We loved staying here for the three nights… the flat has a lovely feel to it, is furnished and decorated to a high standard and felt very comfortable for us to stay. The location is terrific, right on the high street and easy access down to the harbour. We would happily stay here again.

“A short walk and you are at the marina…  The entrance through the courtyard is like stepping back in time”

This is a really lovely apartment in the centre of Lymington high street. It was clean, well decorated and presented and David was a great host answering any questions I had. The apartment felt spacious and bright, there were three of us. A short walk and you are at the marina which is lovely and on Saturdays there is a market the spans up and down the street, it has been going for 100 years and so a great history. The entrance through the courtyard to the property is like stepping back in time. We were here for a wedding so didn’t get to do too much exploring but that only gives us reason to return and I would definitely stay here again.

“The kids loved watching passers by out of the huge bay window”

We spent a lovely week in Lymington staying at Smugglers Loft as a family of four. Plenty of room for us all and the kids loved watching passers by out the huge bay window overlooking the high street. The apartment had everything we could need and David was a fabulous host, always available to answer questions and helping us out where needed (locating & returning one lost & very loved teddy on departure!). It was a perfect location, easy to wander around Lymington while just a 5min car journey to the beautiful New Forest or nearest beach. Would highly recommend.

“The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!”

What a great place!  Apartment is really great and furnished to a very high standard with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Location is fantastic and whether staying for a weekend or longer you will not be disappointed. My children and I had a great time in the accommodation as well as out and about in Lymington and beyond. The only negative was that our time at Smugglers Loft came to an end!
